Montana
Metal Products is a Precision Sheet Metal Fabricator  and
Machine Shop located in Des Plaines,
Illinois (about 10 minutes from O’Hare Airport).
Though founded in 1957, on "Montana" Street
in Chicago, the company was acquired by it's
current owners in January, 1996, and
has since expanded into a 98,00 square foot facility. MMP
currently runs two shifts, employing over 120
people. MMP’s
customer concentration has been within, but not limited
to,
aerospace, defense, medical, diagnostic, security, and telecommunication
industries. Our strength
is the manufacture of custom close tolerance,
sheet metal fabrication in all alloys. We offer design assistance
and processing from inception to prototype and into full
production.
In machining, we specialize in extremely complex close tolerance
parts in many different alloys. Over the years, MMP has
prided
itself on superb quality manufacturing. We are certified
to Military Standard I-45208 and have earned "Top Supplier" awards
from many major manufacturers. Additionally in April
of 1998
we were certified to, ISO 9002, and maintain
certification to, ISO 9001:2000. In November 2007, MMP was certified to AS9100. Montana Metal Products,
L.L.C's long range goal is the expansion of it's current
capabilities and in the acquisition of additional companies.
We are looking to expand with similar companies as well as
businesses that will make MMP the "One Stop Shop" for outsourcing
for our current and future customers.
